PHILANTHROPY

Philanthropy is an essential part of Delta Theta Mu's purpose as an organization. We want our sisters to be involved in the community, and shed light on our philanthropy.  At least one week per school year, we will have a charity week, dedicated to spreading awareness and raising money for our national philanthropy. Through service, we believe Delta Theta Mu's value of sisterhood can be strengthened as we unite together for a better cause.

With over 65.6 million of the world's population being forcibly displaced, our philanthropy is dedicated to The Refugee Crisis. Being one of the most complex humanitarian crisis of this generation, just being able to shed some light on this issue can make a difference. By working with World Relief, a 501c(3) nonprofit organization, we plan to raise money and spread awareness of The Global Refugee Crisis through various events and fundraisers. Charity week is an example, and we also will be having an annual Cultural Fashion Show, where all proceeds go to this wonderful organization. Any ideas as well for philanthropic events, can be spoken about with the Chapters officers.
